The Idea
First, there was the question of how AI-generated characters in verticals are influencing the booming market and how this affects fans. To better understand AI verticals, they were analyzed across more than 50 apps. These findings were incorporated into the questions for the fan survey. Based on initial feedback, the questions were modified and a pre-test was launched. Further improvements and changes were made, and the fan survey was launched.
The AI Verticals
What stood out during the initial analysis of the AI Verticals was the fact that some themes were portrayed in extreme ways—including elements that wouldn’t have been handled that way in human-created Verticals. But there were also positive findings: the world-building is phenomenal, and the special effects added significant value, particularly for the fantasy Verticals. As the research progressed, the AI Verticals evolved and their quality improved.

The Fan Survey "AI versus Humans" started on 23th August 2026 and endet on 20 th September 2026.
